Kayla J. Dailey is a Founder and creative director shaping culture through storytelling. As the founder of Triggered Productions, she develops narrative and visual projects that blend artistry with purpose.

The name Triggered means channeling doubt into drive, setbacks into results, and challenges into fuel for creativity. Triggered Productions is built on that energy—producing work that delivers .

Her portfolio spans independent films, photography, and freelance creative work including award-winning projects such as a Bronze Telly Award for Art Imitates Life: Barbara Brandon Croft.

This project is a product of the 2024 Dreams Resurrected: The Other Lives of Sakia Gunn film initiative, through partnership of the Newark LGBTQ Film Festival and Express Newark’s Community Media Center.

Beyond the Screen

Beyond her creative work, Kayla is committed to mentorship and advocacy. She volunteers with youth development and education programs, helping young people discover their voices through media and storytelling.

In recognition of her contributions, she received the Distinguished Service Award of the Year (2023) and was acknowledged during Women's History Month by the DC Chapter of the National Black MBA Association.

Her impact has also been featured in the Washington Informer for her community advocacy, and she published an article with the Military Officers Association of America highlighting Toys for Tots and the challenges of supply chain demand. Her efforts reflect a belief that creativity can be a powerful tool for empowerment and representation.
